The term ‘future-facing’ is one that’s often banded around when it comes to tech companies. However, with Senseye, this is an organisation that’s truly one step ahead. As a Predicative Maintenance software company, they spot problems before they happen. Using machine learning, complex data analysis and AI, they provide their clients with hugely valuable insights into potential issues on their production lines. The wide range of industries that they serve (everything from automotive to FMCG, heavy industry to manufacturing) underlines perfectly just how crucial their offering is. After all, what business couldn’t do with that extra knowledge and insight about what might be just around the corner?
Senseye is a company that’s constantly honing and improving their range of digital products. As such, each and every software update must have clear, intuitive messaging – in each of the six languages that it exists in. Not only that but we would be required to deliver our translations in a file format that could be re-programmed back into Senseye’s updated version of their software. So, not only was the content we were required to translate incredibly technical but so was the process too. Luckily we’re well versed in both matters. McFelder shares some common ground with Senseye in that we too use machine learning and AI in our services. So, software localisation projects such as this one are second nature.
We were recommended to Lily Hristova, Product Associate, by a Senseye colleague. Since then we’ve sought to support her and the rest of the Senseye team with any projects they happen to be working on; be it a software update, a completely new project or articles for their extensive online helpdesk.
“It’s not as simple as just translating a document, and we have to be very weary of the terminology,” Lily explains. “If something isn’t translated properly clients can lose trust in our product. Accuracy is very important!”
