Upon hiring a new Marketing Manager, NEOGEN’s North American branch soon made the decision to outsource translation services for the entirety of their marketing comms. In their search for a specialist provider with a solid reputation in this field, they approached us to see how we could help. Having worked closely with the company’s European arm for over a decade, we were delighted to be included in the procurement process and keen to impress.
We proposed an attractive contract pricing agreement which meant NEOGEN could benefit from discounts on volume (thanks to our translation workflows and Translation Memories). Of course, our pitch wasn’t entirely about value, we also submitted test translations to help underline the quality of our expertise.
Our efforts proved successful – after a full assessment and evaluation of all the procurement requirements, we were chosen as NEOGEN’s approved translation supplier. Bespoke solutions being somewhat of specialty here at McFelder, we set to work in building a strong relationship with their Brand Manager and Corporate MarCom Coordinator in order to get a firm grasp on exactly what they required. The highly technical nature of NEOGEN’s products and their important role in food supply meant that translations needed to be accurate, above all else.
